Clare Saxon

Digital Content Editor

Clare works with the Communications team in the London office and is responsible for overseeing all of the online editorial content for the organization, writing daily News stories for this website and managing editorial and digital content for campaign websites ClimateWeekNYC.org and TheCleanRevolution.org. She also heads our Twitter accounts, global social media strategy and global internal communications strategy, and assists regional teams with editing, proofing and 'tone of voice' in copywriting, e-newsletters, blogs and high-profile event invites.

Her previous projects include Editor roles for Greenmystyle.com, Trafalgar.com and Mydeco.com, where she also lead on online community building and management, blogging, CMS implementation, project management, online marketing, newsletter creation and analytic reporting, SEO merchandising and social media strategy. As a freelancer Clare has also edited published works and collaborated with leading brands like Adidas.

Clare graduated from the University of Southampton with a BA in English, where she also edited a music section of the University newspaper. In her spare time Clare enjoys the countryside, her french bulldog Enzo, creative writing and seeing live music (then blogging and tweeting about it, of course).
